Brainstorm and write on the board
a list of animals. Each student can name one. Then ask them to say whether they
are vertebrate or invertebrate and what the difference between the two groups
is.
B. Draw
a diagram for them to complete in pairs with the different groups of
vertebrates that they can remember.
